Last time I went home, I helped my mom update our ugly gym. The last homeowners were absolutely obsessed with wall borders (not to mention animal heads, sunflowers, and confederate flags). We took down the terrible border, painted it a lovely bluish gray, and added some accessories. We also bought a new modern overhead fixture. The gym is now just lovely.
