Apothecary Jars

I absolutely love the look of apothecary jars. They are one of the cheapest and most simple ways to decorate a space. Whether you fill them with fruit, candy, or ornaments, they are absolutely stunning.

I also am obsessed with apothecary jar styled beverage dispensers. I often fill mine with the easiest party drink ever: vodka (preferably sweet tea flavored), lemonade, lemon juice & some floating lemon slices. Perfection!

You can buy apothecary jars from Pottery Barn, but you'll be spending about $39-$69 per jar. I recommend you go to places like Home Goods, TJMaxx, or Marshalls. All the ones I have purchased cost around $10 a jar!

Crystal Chandeliers

border=Now matter how much you pay in rent, one of the most consistently ugly features of rental spaces is the lighting! Landlords often pick the cheapest, tackiest fixtures they can find, and the result is a cheap looking apartment.

In order to remedy this situation, I decided to put in two crystal chandeliers into my 1 bedroom apartment. Although I adore the gorgeous crystal chandeliers that cost thousands of dollars, I was able to find two beautiful fixtures from overstock.com for around $100 each. After a $100 installation fee, I have a quick and cheap fix that has made my apartment look so much more luxurious!
I love the combination of the large scale chandelier flanked by the two large mirrors. Perfection!

I love how this simple crystal chandelier transforms this average white bathroom into a stunning space. This is a great example of the transformative powers of a crystal chandelier.

If only I had an extra room to turn into a dressing room!

Absolutely gorgeous, and absolutely out of my price range!

Can you imagine anything more beautiful than eating dinner under the stars and a crystal chandelier?
