The prettiest dresses are worn to be taken off.

Borrrring new purchases.

I don't know if you are anything like me, but when I open my cabinet, I have a wide array of mismatched plates and bowls.  While I am past the stage of ugly plastic cups and free giveaway mugs, I have 4 black flowered dinner plates, 4 pink flowered dinner plates, 4 tan square dinner plates, 4 tan salad plates, and 4 shoe print salad plates. Get my point-- it is just too much and too mismatched!  So, I saw an amazing sale on JCPenney today for a 32 piece set of white square china ($199 down to $99 plus 20% off).  Although white is boring, it really does make food look better and more fancy (and lord knows I need all the help I can get!).

The set comes with 8 dinner plates, 8 salad plates, 8 bowls, and 8 mugs.  I am not the biggest fan of the mugs, but whatever.  I also got two larger serving plates, and a set (8) canape plates.  Once I move out of my apartment, I can actually have a serious grown-up dinner party. 

 

 

I also was super tempted to get these wooden-esque chargers, but I resisted. They are just too cute though!
