Now matter how much you pay in rent, one of the most consistently ugly features of rental spaces is the lighting! Landlords often pick the cheapest, tackiest fixtures they can find, and the result is a cheap looking apartment.In order to remedy this situation, I decided to put in two crystal chandeliers into my 1 bedroom apartment. Although I adore the gorgeous crystal chandeliers that cost thousands of dollars, I was able to find two beautiful fixtures from overstock.com for around $100 each. After a $100 installation fee, I have a quick and cheap fix that has made my apartment look so much more luxurious!
